A Number of Draft Laws for Passing in the Second Reading Debated

At November 18 sitting, the parliament debated in the second reading the draft law on Amending the Law on Public Service Regulatory Body and the package of the enclosed draft laws. The Chairman of the RA Public Service Regulatory Commission Garegin Baghramyan has noted the improvement of the activity of the public service regulatory body. Some specifications were made during the period from the first to the second reading.

By passing the draft law on Making Addendum to the Law on Compulsory Enforcement of Judicial Acts an opportunity will be given to the compulsory enforcement service not to charge enforcement costs in case of terminating the initiated enforcement proceedings related to a spouse, child, parent, grandmother, grandfather, sister or brother of a person who has died, acquired disability, is missing or has recognized as dead because of participating in the military operations of the RA Defense, carrying out the combat duty or special task on the line of contact with the enemy, or as a result of the enemy’s offensive operation.

The RA Deputy Minister of Justice Yeranuhi Tumanyants presented the draft law.

The Head Committees endorsed the debated items.
